Our Story
We are a small family-owned small business. We believe in the healing properties of VeraPure™ based on the experiences by the inventor and our own experiences.
VeraPure™ was developed by David CK Chang, PhD. Chemistry, University of Missouri at Columbia. Dr. Chang was a Senior Research Associate at Dupont, working there for 30 years. During his career he was granted 6 patents for his research and development work.
VeraPure™ is the result of over 20 years of persistent, patient, iterative experimentation.
Several years into his retirement Dr. Chang sought a better solution for the itchy, irritated skin conditions that limited his enjoyment of outdoor activities such as golf and gardening. Skin problems also affected his sleep, and while regular use of antihistamines and cortisone steroids helped, they provided only temporary relief. Thus began his personal and passionate search for a more natural and long-term solution for his skin conditions.
He was intrigued by the potential of aloe to promote skin health. Commercially available products from the gels and juices of natural aloe plants were difficult to apply evenly, did not readily absorb or left undesirable residue on the skin. Most importantly, in his experience their application produced inconsistent healing results. In his research of scientific and product literature, he found that while researchers have isolated effective compounds from the aloe vera plant, most commercially available products with claims of effectiveness and purity are prohibitively expensive and are less stable.
Dr. Chang put his scientific mind and experience with chemical processes to the task. Over a decade of study and experimentation, he sought to develop a reliable process for the extraction of high-purity and stable active components from aloe vera. By August 2016, he was regularly producing a stable aloe vera product that he found effective for his own personal use and use by friends. He has continued to further refine the processes for extraction and purification, resulting in ongoing improvements to key product qualities and better effectiveness. The therapeutic outcomes began with the resolution of skin conditions, and grew to include pain relief, speeding injury recovery and general well-being.
We are now ready to share the fruit of his many years of labor with you, others with a mutual interest in expanding access to the therapeutic solutions available from natural aloe vera. We believe VeraPure™ is a superior product and invite you to try it for yourself.
As a small family business, we have limited access to chemical analysis and clinical testing. However, from fundamental measurements and observations, initial chemical analysis, and numerous positive anecdotal outcomes, we believe VeraPure™ has reached a stage of maturity to be shared with others.
